It is always good, that you prepare these snacks well. Clean it by washing and chop them into small pieces, you can pop into your mouth. The only reason behind preparing these vegetables is to avoid the temptation to grab something else, which is already prepared.

Another great way of controlling your appetite is to make a large container of greens and keep it in the refrigerator. The quantity should be enough to make it last for 3-4 days at a stretch. Cut and mix up the greens and vegetables if you want, in a bowl without any dressing on it. To have a healthy meal or a snack, all you have to do is add a few handfuls of the greens and add the dressing. The dressing will ensure that your salad, will not last that long enough and will be chewed up in your mouth. Infact this is a very quick way to have a healthy meal or a snack. This strategy, of having a ready made snack also helps in preventing you from eating something, which is high in calorie as well as unhealthy.

The next time you are out shopping, take a look around and look at the readily available salad dressings. These are healthy, as well as low calorie and low on Carbohydrates. Stock yourself, with 4-5 salad dressings. So every time you snack, you have a different salad taste, depending on what dressing you have used.
